Day One
- Tel Aviv
Arrival at Ben
Gurion airport. Easy bike ride to Tel Aviv (20 km. on asphalt).
Visit the old port of Jaffa, the Jaffa flea market, the
Carmel market and the first
neighborhoods of Tel Aviv. Optional visit to a bike shop.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day Two-
Haifa and the Carmel
Bus ride north to Haifa and the Carmel mountain. Visit the
Muhraka for a view of the
Jezreel valley. Cycle off-road through the Carmel mountains
to Haifa and visit the
Druse village of Daliat el Carmel. In Haifa visit the Bahai
temple and gardens.
Overnight in the Haifa area.
Day Three-
Nazareth and the Galilee
Bus ride to Nazareth the birth place of Jesus. Visit
the Church of the Annunciation
and the old market of Nazareth. Cycle in the mountains of
the Galilee to Zippori, the
center of Judaism after the destruction of the 2nd Temple.
Overnight in the Galilee.
Day Four-
Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee
Bicycle ride (off-road) to the Sea of Galilee and around
the lake. Visit Capernahum
the site of a 4th century synagogue and the home of St.
Peter. Visit Tiberias and end
the day in the hot springs of Hamat Gader, the site of an
ancient Roman bath house.
Overnight in the Galil.

Day Five-
The Judean Desert
Bus ride south to the Judean desert. Visit Masada and float in the Dead sea. Off road cycling in a unique desert, the lowest point in the world.
Overnight in kibbutz Ein Gedi.
Day Six and Seven-
Jerusalem
Bus ride towards Jerusalem. Off road ride in the desert; visit the ancient monastery of Mar Saba. Visit the Old City of Jerusalem. Night ride around the Old City walls.
Overnights in Jerusalem.
Day eight
Final bicycle
ride. Bus ride to Tel Aviv and airport.
